The symbol of the arrow-loop starflower has many significant aspects. It represents multiple principles of Abir® SM training.

It came in the form of a vision to the Abir® Aluf while meditating one morning. He saw a flower with twelve pedals floating on placid water. Each pedal stands for a tribe of Israel with it's corresponding month and Hebrew zodiac sign or "mazal". Layers of bows and arrows appeared within the flower with each arrow pulling back and thereby tightening their cords to their limits. While the arrows with their cords, also numbering twelve, were straight, their bows stood out in vivid contrast as did the equally opposed directions they pointed to. Half the arrows pointed in, representing centripetal force, while the remaining six represented centrifugal force.

The Aluf envisioned himself moving along the various arrows at great speed. Riding one into the center and hopping onto another in another direction facing out, the energetic pull created a beautiful harmonic sound as the pull of the arrows caused the flower to hover above the face of the water. As the flower rose, it spun at great speed creating a massive whirlpool and propelling the Aluf well above the flower. He rose vertically until the flower reached its peak elevation. At that level, he lay across the top of this energy mass horizontically, face down. He listened to the humming sound of the wind tunnel and enjoyed a cool mist that rose off the waters surface. He saw that this form below was a breathing gyrating configuration of infinite stars of David. These stars were either rounded or pointed and revealed the lines of angular battle maneuvers in both advance or retreat modalities.

Many motion and combat theories became vividly clear to him, and he immediately began to draw this flower. He knew from that very moment that this was the symbol that he wanted on the left chest of the Abir® SM "H'alifa"(uniform). It is a unique and powerful symbol that houses many many secrets.
